Not that I’m a lead guitarist (or a decent guitarist for that matter), but I do like a double cutaway guitar. I’m also a fan of a symmetrical guitar design. I imagine that’s been one of the Gibson SG’s long-lasting selling points. The Ethan Hart EH-21-WH is an awesome looking modern take on a classic design style. It’s also pointier and I’m a big fan of pointy guitars!
Looks aren’t everything though. Sometimes you need an impressive feature list and the EH-21-WH delivers on that front as well.
- Seymour Duncan Blackout active pickups
- Bridge with magnetic assist
- Two volume controls and one tone control
- Ebony fingerboard with a beautiful 12th fret inlay (which actually covers 8 frets)
- 24 frets
- Grover machine heads
- Sexy body and neck design
So much quality in one perfectly designed guitar. I love it. One of the items I like the sound of is the magnetic assist bridge. It would be easy with this bridge type for the bridge to fall off during a string change. Magnetic assist would hopefully reduce the chances of that happening.
Of course the three regular readers of this site would know I love black and/or white guitars. This guitar has that covered as well. It’s near perfect. Make sure you check out some of the Ethan Hart videos on their media page too. There’s lots to love with these guitars.
Disclaimer: I’ve not played this guitar. I have not experienced the sound or feel of this guitar. That doesn’t matter. It looks awesome, it’s obviously played by winners and I want one.
