A couple of years ago I had a blog that I called 47 guitars. I wrote about the 47 guitars I’d buy if I was some kind of a millionaire. I’m still not a millionaire, but I would add this guitar to any wishlist I was putting together. Wait … I am putting together such a list. And so I add the PRS Dave Navarro Signature model. Because it is still awesome.
Actually, this guitar seems as ageless as Dave Navarro. I’m sure he doesn’t age. Anyhow, the guitar.
Of course one of the drawcards for this guitar is the fact that it comes in pure white. With its black pickups, volume/tone (push/pull) controls and rosewood fretboard, the guitar quickly takes on the B&W appearance I love so much in a guitar. It’s not an addition I generally like, but the gold hardware on this guitar (all PRS designed) just looks amazing. There is a classy and sexy design style going on that I can’t help but love.
As with many Paul Reed Smith guitars, the inlays are the birds and the headstock is that sexy three-a-side design that is modern/classy. I know I’ve used the word classy already, but this guitar simply is classy.
I’ve actually seen one of these guitars in real life (unlike many of the other guitars in my wishlist series). I’ve seen it, but unfortunately my standard article disclaimer must remain …
Disclaimer: I’ve not played this guitar. I have not experienced the sound or feel of this guitar. That doesn’t matter. It looks awesome, it’s obviously played by winners and I want one.
