Just this month I wrote about the new GuitarTone 2 that Sonoma Wire Works released recently. Just as I am enjoying those tones I discover Ultimate Guitar Effects (powered by Sonoma Wire Works) by Ultimate-Guitar.com. Awesome!

This app (did I mention it is free?) is available for iPhone and iPad. It seems to have slipped under the radar a little bit and that is sad. The tones I’ve experienced have been pretty amazing. When I’m able to link this to FourTrack, StudioTrack or Audiobus I’ll be over the moon. Let’s hope that feature comes soon.
