I’ve loved the Jackson Adrian Smith Signature San Dimas for quite some time. In fact the last time I did this whole weekly guitar Blog thing, I featured this same guitar. With all the new guitar releases over the years, I still love this guitar. Seriously, what’s not to love!?
From the way the maple neck sits so nicely in the white finish of the alder body to the complementary shades of black seen in the guitar’s hardware, this guitar screams class. Speaking of screaming, this guitar features a DiMarzio Super Distortion bridge pickup that is sure to generate some killer tones. Combine that with the Fender Samarium Cobalt Noiseless (SCN) single coil pickups in the middle and neck positions and the tonal varieties for this guitar would surely be plentiful. Personally I’d just want to rock on this guitar, but I imagine it’s capable of plenty more.
Although, with a Floyd Rose tremolo, why would you choose anything else but rock?!
As I’ve mentioned already, there is a lot to love in this guitar. The thing I probably love the most though is the fact that this guitar combines some of the best modern guitar manufacturing techniques and equipment with the classic Fender Stratocaster guitar style. That’s the kind of awesome a person could love forever.
Disclaimer: I’ve not played this guitar. I have not experienced the sound or feel of this guitar. That doesn’t matter. It looks awesome, it’s obviously played by winners and I want one.
