This year I actually did a small piece of graphic design work. Yay me! It was a really fun project where I worked with a friend I met on social media many years back through our shared love of guitars. He’s actually good at playing guitar though and has decided to share his guitar knowledge with those keen to learn. Hence this logo.

Custom stickers from Sticker Mule
Earlier this year I purchased another awesome deal from the folks at AppSumo—I’ve mentioned them and my happy addiction to their deals before. This deal was with the fine folks at Sticker Mule. It was time to put my brand on stickers so I could place them on random cars.
I wouldn’t really do that. Please don’t do that.
Milanote—one of my favourite finds in 2020
This could be a lengthy post. Partly because this article will require imagery to help me explain what I love so much about Milanote. Also though, I may ramble on a bit because there is a lot that I genuinely love about Milanote. No time to waste! To the feature list!
Another 52 Guitars, week 44—Hamer Archtop
Here are some true and funny facts. Firstly, I am still way behind in my scheduling for this series of articles. Secondly, I shouldn’t be behind as the list is already written. It’s been written for a while now. Thirdly, when I recently caught up with a friend and he told me son had recently bought a guitar by Hamer Guitars, I thought “I’m pretty sure their Archtop guitar is in my article series”.
It was (unpublished). It now is (you’re reading it).
Another 52 Guitars, week 43—Frank Brothers Guitars Arcade
I’m lucky enough to already have more guitars than my skillset warrants. My small collection allows me to pick and choose each day between something traditional and something a bit more … pointy. What if you feel the need to play something a bit pointy, but also a bit traditional at the same time?
That’s when the Frank Brothers Guitars Arcade would be incredibly handy. #want
Namecheap—it’s where I do my Interwebs hosting
If you’re reading this, you’re on my website. Aren’t the Interwebs awesome like that?! For all of my Interwebs domain wrangling and hosting, I use Namecheap. There are several reasons and I thought I’d use my own small piece of online real estate to point out some of those reasons why.
Let’s have at it!
Another 52 Guitars, week 42—Prisma Guitars Diavolo
Continuing with my late year catch-up game in the Another 52 guitars series is a guitar as unique as my apparent approach to how weeks work in a year. Luckily, the Diavolo by Prisma Guitars is a lot more impressive than my ability to schedule regular content.
Another 52 Guitars, week 41—Rivolta Guitars Combinata VII
There’s this guy I know and admire—let’s call him Brad—who has often mentioned his love for Novo Guitars. He may even have one of the Novo Guitars models himself—he absolutely does. So when I was putting this list together, I knew I had to look into the Novo options because Brad is wise.
When I discovered Novo Guitars had a whole other line using the name Rivolta Guitars, I became intrigued. Then I saw the Combinata VII and became sad. I was sad that I didn’t already have one of these guitars. Still, I have the ability to fix that one day.
Happiness returns!
