This sea eagle photograph was taken around the Fingal Head area of northern New South Wales. I do not recall the exact date of the photograph, but I know it was uploaded to Flickr in 2012.
I believe the photograph was taken on a Nikon SLR (pre-digital era for me).
Both of my PCs run with docks (like you’d see on most Macs). One PC is running the Ubuntu operating system (OS) while the other runs the Windows OS. The Windows machine is using the customisable RocketDock to create its dock. Customisable is good. This allows me to create my own dock themes from time to time. You can see my attempts at RocketDock theming on my deviantART page.

While designing for Mater I created the signage branding for Mater Health Centres. The signage requirements required a design that could be applied in full colour or single colour while also providing options for stacked and horizontal alignments.

This bee was photographed in City Park, Launceston, Tasmania, Australia. The bee was quite large and looked beautiful on the orange flowers.
I do not recall the camera or exact date of the photograph unfortunately. It was sometime before March 2012 when I uploaded the photograph to Flickr—most likely during a work trip in late 2011.
While designing for Mater I created the Redlands Clinic logo. The logo needed to represent the medical aspect of the business while still appearing community oriented. The use of the colour red ties in with both of those requirements as does the logo’s font pairing.

I used to run a website dedicated to random articles that were about anything and everything. That website was maybedaily.info. Written daily … maybe. The concept was to be a news source where the news was all daily activities that had an element of humour about them. It was almost news without being news. Therefore the logo needed to represent a news source logo without being totally serious.

Prior to dedicating my Scarebear website to my guitar fascination, I started a small website called 47 Guitars. The aim was to post weekly guitar related articles for 47 weeks straight. I later decided to incorporate that concept into the main Scarebear website instead. The logo for 47 Guitars was intended to represent the guitar subject matter which was achieved by using the plectrum shape.

This is the logo I created for the first version of my online digital graphic design portfolio. Originally all of my websites had their own brand and name—it was not very connected or obvious. The logo represents the use of ink (through the obvious ink splatter) as does the font style (by using a newspaper styled serif font). The logo is all black and white as is often my design preference.
