Kookaburra

A Kookaburra sits calmly on top of a cabin in the northern New South Wales hinterland near Bellingen. Photograph taken on Nikon D60.

Customs House ceiling

Customs House in Brisbane is a beautiful-looking building. When inside the building, I was drawn to the shapes the ceiling and its sole hanging light made. Without knowing what you’re looking at, it’s still an interesting photograph.

Photograph taken on the iPhone 3 (filters applied in Instagram).

Macro crab

A macro photograph taken near Bargara in Queensland, Australia. I believe the photograph was taken using the Fujifilm FinePix S5700. I do not recall the exact date of the photograph, but it was uploaded to my Flick account in 2012.

Dandelion

A dandelion ready for the wind to distribute its seeds. Photograph taken sometime before 2012 when I originally uploaded this image to my Flickr account.

I believe the photograph was taken on my last film SLR camera—Canon AE-1.

Grasshopper among the foliage

A photograph of a grasshopper before I transitioned to digital photography. The photograph was captured on my Canon—which I believe was an AE-1. The photograph was taken in my mother’s back yard in Brisbane, Australia.

Sea Eagle

This sea eagle photograph was taken around the Fingal Head area of northern New South Wales. I do not recall the exact date of the photograph, but I know it was uploaded to Flickr in 2012.

I believe the photograph was taken on a Nikon SLR (pre-digital era for me).

Bee in Tasmania

This bee was photographed in City Park, Launceston, Tasmania, Australia. The bee was quite large and looked beautiful on the orange flowers.

I do not recall the camera or exact date of the photograph unfortunately. It was sometime before March 2012 when I uploaded the photograph to Flickr—most likely during a work trip in late 2011.

Bee on flower

Those bees sure are fidgety little fellows when you’re trying to capture a good photograph. Photograph taken on Nikon D60.

Dragonfly

A dragonfly stopped flying about just long enough for me to capture this photograph. It’s as successful as I’ve been photographing dragonflies. Photograph taken on Nikon D60.
