While designing for Mater I created this invitation design for one of the hospital’s refurbishment launches. The design needed to appear modern while recognising the blend of old and new with the hospital’s refurbishment and history.

While designing for Mater, I created the billboard that announced the development of the new building that was being constructed to house both Mater Mothers’ Hospital and Mater Mothers’ Private Hospital (now Mater Mothers’ Private Brisbane). The billboard design announced that Mater was expecting a new building (a term often associated with mothers who are expecting a child).

Many years ago I ran a small web design/development business that specialised in brochureware style websites. The goal was to build wicked little websites for people who wanted something that focused on content, design and accessibility. The logo for that business needed to be a blend between professional and wicked. This was that logo.
